I haven’t fasted for more than a day in awhile, and I realized that I miss that light, dizzy feeling. It’s fun watching the sparkles dance at the corners of your vision when you reach the top of the stairs. It’s so satisfying to know that your stomach is completely hollow. I always find myself smiling easier when I haven’t eaten any calories in 36 hours or so. My hands get cold, and everything seems cleaner. My mind is sharper, and I feel empowered and independent.
I am craving emptiness.
